Howdy,

I've just setup Synchronet and was trying to get the InterBBS Active users working.

For me I've set up everything correctly, and UDP/11 TCP/18 is connectable from outside, but your scanmyports script still shows UDP/11 as "Failure".

[leenooks@ig-1-3 ~]$ nc -u bbs.leenooks.net 11

User Action Time-on Node ------------------------- ------------------------------- -------- ---- Alterego posting message 0:08:15 1

Any idea why I dont show up? (I logged onto Vert to test.)

This is really the wrong message area for Synchronet support questions.

As for your host, it appears you don't have an IP address (A record or CNAME) in your DNS record:

$ nc -u bbs.leenooks.net 11
bbs.leenooks.net: forward host lookup failed: Unknown host : Connection timed out
$ host bbs.leenooks.net
bbs.leenooks.net mail is handled by 10 l.dlcm.co.

Yeah, I noticed that after it posted.

I wanted area 16, and didnt realise I got area 6 :)
