DA (Directory Access) allows you to View, Copy,
Replace or Restore a Directory (not it's image,
but the actual Directory). Note: Replace or
Restore is limited to Sub-Directories, not the
Root. You can also create a Hexadecimal Image
file of any Directory including the Root.
You can Edit a Copy of a Sub-Directory (actual
Directory) using a Binary File Editor. You can
change data about a file that is normally not
accessible such as Creation Time/Date, Last Access
Date, etc., then "Replace" that Sub-Directory with
the edited Copy. NOTE: I have used DA to fix a
bad "alien" entry in a Sub-Directory.

DRSP tests the write and read speed of
almost any drive by performing a series
of DOS I/O operations, and displays the
results formatted in KB/Sec and MB/Min.
It also tests file access speed such as
CREATE, OPEN, CLOSE and DELETE, presenting
the result in Operations/Sec.
It allows you to adjust test parameters,
use COMMAND-line arguments and log the
results.

Copy/save, replace, any disk sector or FAT. View
any disk sector (Physical or Logical) in two
modes. SA (Sector Access) allows you to copy/save
(to a file) any disk sector or FAT. You can view
disk sectors in hexadecimal or "raw" text mode.
Note: You can also view any file (three modes).
With SA, you can replace a disk sector or FAT with
a sector or FAT saved as a file. The sector can be
a "physical" (head, track/cylinder, sector) or a
logical sector. SA allows you to restore/replace a
corrupt (damaged) MBR (Master Boot Record) or FAT
in your hard drive/disk which prevents you from
accessing your hard drive or files (FAT). SA will
replace a corrupt floppy boot or OS (Operating
System) boot in the hard drive. Note: Restoring
the hard drive's MBR, OS boot, or FAT requires you
to have a copy (file) saved to a floppy/s as backup.
