OK, so I deleted a message area. Downloaded a new QWK packet, since
making changes in mid-QWK process can mix up where the replies land.
I posted a new message in alt.bbs.ads.
Downloaded a QWK packet this morning and it was huge - looked at the
packet, and alt.bbs.ads in my packet contains my message, a couple of
other new messages, and the entire contents of alt.sysadmin.recovery.
I see the messages in there, when I log on locally - each with the
header From Newsgroup: "alt.sysadmin.recovery"
I am running an older version of newslink.cfg from the mods folder, I
needed to auto-approve posts to a.s.r.
From Newsgroup: "alt.sysadmin.recovery"
You see those messages in where?
That sounds like QWK conference re-numbering (because you deleted a message area) and not a newslink issue.
