DPPP activity log messages - Detlef Pleiss, Sep-1-97

In case you want to write some software that analyzes the lines DPPP writes to
PBBS activity logs, here is a list of DPPP activity log message formats:

---

DPPP start MM-DD-YY HH:MM
denotes startup of the program. Everything from here to

DPPP stop MM-DD-YY HH:MM
is written to the actlog under the control of DPPP

Lines that may appear in between:

AUTHENTICATION: CHAP
or
AUTHENTICATION: PAP

LOGIN: <user name>

LEVEL: <n>
  security level, after LOGIN

CREDITS: old <n>, used <n>, new <n>
only if DPPP credit deduction is activated
  appears after LOGOFF

TIMELEFT: <n>
last notice from the LOGIN procedure
minutes left for this call, after applying multipliers,
eventually restricted by credits and/or events and/or DPPP not registered

LOGOFF
  denotes beginning of logoff operations

TIMEUSED: <n>
  appears after LOGOFF
actual number of minutes used (multiplier *not* applied)

BYTES: <n>
  appears after LOGOFF
  number of bytes transfered

BAD: <n>
appears after LOGOFF, only if <n> is not zero
number of bytes dropped from bad input packets

Error Messages always start with "ERROR:". Possible messages are:

ERROR: already online
autodetection only, caller is already online on another node

ERROR: wrong password
PAP only. CHAP simply hangs up.

ERROR: user not found
autodetection only, if user name not found in user base

ERROR: required flag not set
only if a required flag is defined, but the user has it not set

ERROR: not high enough security level
user doesn't meet the security level requirement

ERROR: online time used up
user has no online time left (after applying configured multiplier)

ERROR: credits used up
only if DPPP credit deduction is activated
user has no credits left (after applying configured multiplier)
