Alternate Instruction for Callers using Trumpet Winsocket

When Trumpets own installation procedure is complete, launch TCPMAN.EXE.
From the "File" menu choose "Setup...". At "DNS server(s)" enter "10.0.2.3".
Switch "Driver" to "PPP". Leave the other settings untouched.
Click on "Dialler settings...". There choose the appropriate ComPort and baud
rate. Check "Hardware handshaking" and "VJ header compression". Switch "Online
Status Detection" to "DCD (RLSD)". Leave the other settings untouched. Click
"OK" on the Dialer settings and the Setup dialogs. Click "OK" on the upcoming
messagebox but do not yet restart TCPMAN.
From the "File" menu choose "PPP options...". On the upcoming dialog check
"Use Password Authentication Protocol (PAP)". Enter the BBS account user name
and password. Click "OK".
Exit TCPMAN.EXE.
In the directory where you installed Trumpet to, rename LOGIN.CMD to
LOGIN.ORG, then copy the LOGIN.CMD file supplied by your service provider to
that directory.
Restart TCPMAN.EXE, then choose "Login" from the "Dialler" menu.
Trumpet should now dial the BBS and establish the PPP connection.
