Installing and using Windows 95 Scripting Support
(to launch DPPP from an ANSI Menu)
Detlef Pleiss, Feb-24-97

In order to launch DPPP from an ANSI menu, callers will have to install
Microsoft's "Slip and Scripting Support" (DSCRPT.EXE). There are two different
versions of this software around, with different capabilities. If running the
example script DPPP.SCP gives syntax error messages, it is most likely that
the wrong version is installed. It is recommended to keep the correct version
of DSCRPT.EXE and a working DPPP.SCP available for download in your file base.

To install "Slip and Scripting Support", decompress DSCRPT.EXE to a temporary
directory, then right click on RNAPLUS.INF and choose "Install".
Copy DPPP.SCP to the "\program files\accessories" directory.
Create the new Dial-Up-Networking connection for the BBS (as per instructions
in the other text files).
Run SCRIPTER.EXE from the start menu and there associate the script to the
newly installed dial-up connection.
