History:

A friend of mine gets all the fileecho stuff from Planet Connect, and
sometimes PC will send him the .tic files, but the actual file might not
make it. All of the orphaned .tic files are moved to a seperate directory,
and he wanted to be able to quickly look at one report file, and decide if
he wanted to manually grab a file that he knows PC has, but that didn't
make it.
--------------

Overview:

LO.EXE will read all of the .tic files in a given directory, and will
create a nicely formatted report that contains the filenames,
descriptions, and fileecho area name of the files listed within the .tic
files. Of course, you don't have to have orphaned .tic files in order
to do this. If the (user specified) filename of the output report already
exists, it will be appended to, otherwise, it'll be created.
--------------

Operation:

Run LO.EXE from the same directory where the .tic files are. The output
report file can be anywhere. Use the name of your config file as the
command line parameter. The config file can be named anything. If you
were to use the sample config file, called LO.INI, the command line would
be:

LO LO.INI

Refer to the sample config file for instructions, it's really a simple
little util. I'm not kidding about how long it took to make. :)
--------------

Other Stuff:

As always, if it takes more than just a little while to make it, I ain't
going to do it. *G* This is only a little hobby of mine, and so of
course it's a complete freebie.

Other utils I've made:

Cwait Batch file timing utility.
Directory Killer Deletes empty directories.
Dupe Line Stripper Deletes duplicate lines from text files. Made for
                        my tagline file.
d2x/x2d Convert text files between Unix and Dos format.
FrontDoor Freq Reports occurances of file requests listed in
                        the FD logfile.
Getex Very flexible, retrieves user specified chunks of
                        text out of any textfile.
Inbound Detector/2 For OS/2, sits idle until files show up in your
inbound, then invokes whatever .cmd or .bat file
you specify. Your mailer never needs to exit.
Kill Flags Kills Bink style semaphore flags, usefule between
                        events if using McMail.
Kill Stuff Move chunks of text from one text file to another.
McMail Freq Reports occurances of file requests listed in
                        the McMail logfile.
No Null Delete any *.msg files that do not have a message
                        body.
No Linefeeds Re-writes *.xLO (bink style) files to proper format.
Some utils like YaBom and YaTic need this.
No Tics Insert node numbers into *.tic file seen-by lines,
                        use your imagination. *G*
No Zero Deletes zero byte files.
Pik a File Will pick at random a file from a list of files,
then copy it to a different filename. Great for
BBS's that want to have multiple login screens.
RA Post Will scan the RemoteAccess logfile, and report any
                        occurances of message postings.
Sort Files Will toss files from one directory to user specified
                        directories, alphabetically.
sTag Tagline utility with many options.
XLO Fmail tosser has a problem with bink outbounds. XLO
corrects this problem, by deleting extra *.xLO
files, or by deleting only duplicate filenames in
                        seperate *.xLO files.
