Tri-Bingo 3.6 - Upgrade Instructions From Version 3.2 to 3.5

Copy the *.exe, *.slb and *.hps files from this packet into your
Tri-Bingo directory.

======================

FOR DEFAULT CONFIG FILE:
IF you are using the default TRIBINGO.CFG file, you don't need to do
anything else.

======================

FOR NON-DEFAULT CONFIG FILE:
IF you need to use a different config file for each node, create a file called
TRIBINGO.ALT in your Door directory. It can be empty as long as it's size is
1 byte or bigger. When the door sees that this file exists, it looks at the
name of the config file on the command line. To tell the door to use a
different name, use the following criteria:

DOORNAME.CFx
DOORNAME.Cxx
DOORNAME.xxx

Where "x" is the node number. It is important to use the door name
(as in TRIBINGO) and 3 characters of the extension. The door assumes
that there is a 3 character extension on the file name.

Examples:

TRIBINGO.EXE TRIBINGO.CF1 (this would be for Node 1)
TRIBINGO.EXE TRIBINGO.CF2 (this would be for Node 2)
...
TRIBINGO.EXE TRIBINGO.C10 (this would be for Node 10)

You can create a master config file using the SETUP command and then
copy, rename and edit each config as needed for it's node.

If you go back to the default config file, delete the *.ALT file.

====================
FOR INTERBBS LEAGUES:
If you _ARE_ running in an InterBBS League and upgrading from ver prior to 3.2:

IMPORTANT!

Vesion 3.2 added a time stamp to several InterBBS files. If you are
upgrading from version 3.1 or older, a delete of the MASTER.TB and
TB-*.DAT files will be required. Everyone in the League has to upgrade or
be running ver 3.2 or later or their scores will not be processed by the Hub.

NOTE: If you are upgrading from 3.2 or higher you don't need to do anything
to your IBBS files so skip to the "APPLIES TO ALL" section.

DO NOT (unless you mean too) delete your TRIBINGO.DAT file. This is your
local scores and they are not affected. Your InterBBS scores will not
be lost, but not permanently. When the player plays again, his/her scores
will be picked up from the Local score file and transferred to the IBBS
score file again.

APPLIES TO ALL

The following applys to all:

If you want to turn off the Sysop Feedback feature, create a file
called NOFEEDBK in the Tri-Bingo directory. When this file is
present and a caller selects Sysop Feedback, the caller will be shown
a screen instructing them to leave a message on the BBS.

If you are interested in setting up for InterBBS play, read the
INTERBBS.TXT file for instructions for Upgrading and Setup.
