Quick Start Instructions for New User 95! v1.1

  Quick Step by Step Setup

  1) Unpack NEWUSR11.ZIP to its own directory, or any other directory that
you wish it to reside in.

  2) Change to the directory containing NEWUSER.EXE, and type,
NEWUSER CONFIG on the command line to create your configuration file.

  3) Decide wether to run the program from an event (daily, hourly,
whatever), or from your POSTCALL.BAT file (POSTCALL.BAT is suggested).

  4) The command to start NEWUSER.EXE no longer needs the name of your
configuration file as the first parameter, and there has been an
optional /X command line switch added, which will supress the programs
progress from outputting to the screen. Your configuration file MUST
     be named NEWUSER.CFG.

  The "Config Mode"

When you type NEWUSER CONFIG on the command line, you will be taken in to
"Config Mode" where you will be asked everything New User 95 needs to know,
to write your configuration file for you. While in Config Mode, you can hit
ENTER alone on a blank line to abort.

  Upgrading From v1.0

If you are upgrading from v1.0, then move the new NEWUSER.EXE file to
your existing New User 95! directory, and create a new configuration file
by typing NEWUSER CONFIG on the command line. If you are running New User
from the POSTCALL.BAT file, then you may remove the configuration file
name from the command line, it is no longer needed, and your configuration
file MUST now be named NEWUSER.CFG. You may now optionally use the /X
command line switch when running the program, to supress output to the
screen while the program is working.
