Introduction

It's the same old story: after looking for years for a really
good astrology program for the Amiga (or the PC !?!), I've decided to
write one. By saying 'good' I don't mean a program only capable of very
precise calculations (there are plenty of them even for the PC ;),
neither simply a device filled with tons of more or less useful options:
what I was looking for was a program capable of completely substituting
a hand-drawn horoscope, thus providing a very accurate - but above all
intuitive - image of the zodiac, so that the reader could easily
concentrate on the interpretation without spending too much time
figuring out what a certain graphic output could really mean.

Obviously, this point of view could easily be rejected by those who
 - more or less unaware of Astrology - give the maximum importance to the
ability of a program to provide 'automatically' all the intepretations
written in plain english: although in a future version of my program I
plan to add them, they are meant solely as a quick reference or reminder
because (at least with the actual computer generation) no program will be
able to substituite the mind in the most difficult phase of interpreting
an horoscope: the synthesis of all the single meanings in a global
 picture.
